Artist Bio:  

Feraye is an interdisciplinary artist, researcher, curator, speaker, and writer based on Florida’s Treasure Coast. She holds an MFA in Fine Arts, a certificate in Curatorial Practice from Harvard University, a certificate in Neuroaesthetics from the London School of Business and Research, and professional certifications in various artistic modalities.​

Her research explores art through consciousness, particularly in comparison to AI-generated and robotic art. She recognizes that art is not merely an object produced by consciousness; but it is an instrument for investigating consciousness. She studies how subjective experience leads to artistic creation and perception, and how phenomena such as the Jungian concept of synchronicity can be explained in this context. She is currently writing her first book on the relationship between art, consciousness, and synchronicities in contrast to AI art. Following the passing of her mother, she began experiencing a series of profound synchronicities that inspired her to document them as part of her ongoing inquiry into consciousness, creativity, and the human experience. She believes these synchronicities act as guideposts in her creative journey and keep her in awe of our magical reality.

Working primarily with ink and watercolor, Feraye combines traditional painting and printmaking techniques with contemporary technologies, including Augmented Reality (AR), creating works that invite viewers to reflect on the relationship between the visible and the invisible, the measurable and the experiential.

​

Her work has been exhibited and featured at Mass MoCA, Times Square (HMVC Gallery), The Vault Gallery, and Vandernoot Gallery. She has been a guest on multiple podcasts discussing consciousness and art, and actively participates in organizations exploring the intersections of art, science, and spirituality. She also volunteers with her local cultural alliance.
