About
Me

“Curving back within myself, I create again and again.”
~ The Bhagavad Gita

Science and various ancient wisdom teachings (Kabbalah, Advaita Vedanta, Sufism...etc) tell us that we don’t see reality as it is. We live in an illusory existence. I make art to interpret the temporary, provisional, illusory nature of our reality, inspired by science and ancient, indigenous knowledge. For me, making art is a philosophical practice. I use various printing and painting techniques, mostly ink, watercolor, and acrylic in my works. I also use Augmented Reality (AR) technology for some of the art pieces I make, by superimposing it on them as a top layer. In my art, I push myself to question what is unseen but still there. How micro and macro realities seem interchangeable -as above so below-. In the same way that science and spirituality inform us, art is also another language of the mystical and the unexplainable. When art synthesizes with science and spirituality, it can be utilized as a powerful tool to elucidate the true nature of our existence.
